Suomi Script is a typeface with a twist (pun intended): it has more than 1600 ligatures with two or more glyphs connected to make it look like an odd hand-written script polished by ITC.
With Open Type savvy programs this font automatically replaces single characters with the ligatures. Some hand kerning is needed here and there.
Rusulica Script is elegant, stable and very practical. It is carefully drawn to indicate writing logic while serving modern ideas and needs. Because of it’s decorative and playful design it offers plenty of possibilities as a stand alone display font or as a compliment to any text typeface. Rusulica Script contains 490 glyphs with special attention payed to the letters with diacritical marks. It works best with OpenType-friendly applications.

Young, playful, loopy, flirty. Flirt Script® carves out a niche for itself by concentrating on natural writing tendencies and not the simplified mechanics of script-to-font type design. A free-flowing monoline, the two weight typeface exploits the common letter-to-letter transitions of the typical cursive hand by utilizing three variable-height strike points controlled within the machinations of OpenType Contextual Alternates. The ease of writing (and the decisions made from letter to letter) is reflected as the structure and cadence of the writing evolves as the user types. Flirt Script® is equipped for complex, conscientious, professional typography. As an exclusively OpenType release, these fonts feature over 2700 glyphs and an extended character set to support Central and Eastern European as well as Western European languages. So, to really let the font perform for you, be sure to have Contextual Alternates activated. Flirt Script® received the “Certificate of Excellence in Type Design” at the TDC2 (2014).

Ragazza Script isn’t just another display typeface. It honors the greatest handwriting skills but in a different way. Although It doesn't represent any traditional calligraphy style, it is still part of that expressive world. With more than 1000 glyphs, and taking advantage of the Opentype features, Ragazza is full of personality. When in use, it gives a feel very close to ornamental Copperplate mixed with some kind of modern 'high-contrast' typeface. Lots of alternates, swashes and initial capitals are the spine of this face, assuring almost infinite combination possibilities. The early forms that would eventually lead to what Ragazza is today, began as a college project –around 2006– in the context of the ‘Hyperfuente’ exercise developed during Typography 2, chair E. Longinotti, at the University of Buenos Aires. But that seed would never stop growing. Since then a lot of work had been made to take that initial project to a professional quality level. Ragazza Script is perfect for headlines and short phrases. It is the brand new modern script, designed by Guille Vizzari and published by Latinotype.

Feel Script is based on lettering that calligrapher and logo designer Rand Holub created for Intertype for his face Monterey. Fortunately, I didn’t have the technological limitations today that Intertype had back then. Holub’s lettering is presented in its entirety within Feel Script. Some letterforms were redrawn from vintage American magazine ads (some by Holub himself), along with many new alternates, ligatures, ending forms, and strangely beautiful character combinations. The experience I’ve accumulated from my previous calligraphy typefaces (Ministry Script, Affair, Buffet Script, Burgues Script, et al.) made it easier for me to apply Holub’s lettering in a new context using OpenType technology. The usual extended treatment was given to Feel Script, all the way into the implementation of three-letter ligatures and the dreamiest swashes I could imagine. I changed some of the connections between the lowercase letters in order to fit Holub’s calligraphy as opposed to the limited Intertype metal attempt. I hope you like Feel Script. I also hope what I contributed to this particular Holub design is somewhat of a happy ending to a calligraphy story that crosses many technologies. From the pen to computer Bézier. My part of this story stops here ... and yours begins. Feel Script has more than 1200 glyphs including: stylistic alternates, contextual alternates, titling alternates, swashes, and ligatures.

The Magesta Script family by Yellow Design Studio is a set of four retro script fonts that capture the warm, authentic qualities of letterpress printing. Light, Regular, and Bold weights were created using different levels of ink coverage, while Mix is a combination of all three. The texture and slight misalignment add to its realism and vintage charm.
